Concurrent Analysis Corporation was founded in 1991 by Rao Singampalli, Ph.D. Prior to then, he served as Vice-President of Research and Development at Structural Research & Analysis Corporation (developers of Cosmos/M). CAC understands that a successful CAE product must provide benefits to its users. Increased productivity, shortened design-to-manufacturing product cycles, and improved product quality are among the benefits that high performance simulation and analysis tools can provide. CAC’s product strategy is to provide the user with state-of-the-art performance, uncompromising quality and complete integration across all pre-processing, analysis and post-processing operations. CAEFEM was developed in C/C++ languages as a true Windows-based finite element analysis product. Seamless integration with FEMAP, the powerful industry leading Windows-based product for pre- and post-processing is inherent in CAEFEM. With CAEFEM (including FEMAP), users enjoy full Windows "touch and feel" functionality; i.e., icon representation, select bars, status messages, move-and-click, etc., with simple commands like "run" for initiating the solver routine. High standards of software quality are insured through comprehensive quality assurance testing and evaluation. CAC first introduced CAEFEM in 1994 following a three year development period. At CAC, uncompromising software quality has always been a top priority which is supported by the fact that no significant bugs have been found (not even in the first release). Within a short time after introducing CAEFEM to the market, CAC found loyal customers in major organizations like Bridgestone Corporation, DuPont, Eastman Kodak, Fuji Photo Optical, Fujitsu Corporation, BAE Systems, Hughes Aircraft Company, Japan Railways Laboratory, Mitsubishi, NASA, Northrop Grumman, Shimizu Corporation, Siemens, SONY, Sumitomo Metal Industries, Toshiba Corporation, Xerox Corporation, Universal Studios, US Navy and Airforce. CAC recognized the fact that usually a lot of time is
spent on debugging in a normal software development process. CAC was able to develop CAEFEM in a short time by almost eliminating this
debugging time. In fact the development
of CAEFEM has been done without using any debugger. Our extensive testing
of CAEFEM using hundreds of
verification problems is just another layer of protection to maintain the
high quality of the software. |
